ABOUT IME
IME was founded by Helena Hell Grufman from a simple, yet often overlooked insight:
People are expected to perform long before they are ever truly met.
In modern working life, individuals are asked to carry responsibility, pressure and complexity - often without a place to pause, reflect, or be seen as human beings beyond their role.
I created IME to change that.
Not by adding another performance tool.
Not by optimising behaviour.
But by creating a protected space where people can simply be met.

Our perspective
At IME, we believe that sustainable performance begins with presence.
Human beings are not resources to be optimised.
They are relational, reflective and meaning-seeking by nature.
When people are only seen through function and output, something essential is lost:
- inner motivation fades
- responsibility becomes external
- pressure replaces meaning
But when a person is met — without agenda, without evaluation — something different becomes possible.
Self-understanding grows.
Inner direction becomes clearer.
Responsibility becomes personal.
Presence returns.
This is not “soft”.
It is foundational.
Because no organisation can mature beyond the inner maturity of its people.
What makes IME different
IME is neither therapy, nor coaching, nor performance management.
Our conversations are:
-
Non-clinical, yet therapeutically held
-
Confidential and protected
-
Free from evaluation or agenda
-
Focused on the person - not the role
The IME practitioner does not advise, correct or optimise.
They hold a space where the employee can think, feel, and meet themselves with honesty and clarity.
It is a room where nothing has to be proven.
Where performance is temporarily put aside.
Where reflection becomes possible.
This is where long-term resilience is built.
Our role in organisations
IME exists at the intersection of human depth and organisational reality.
We do not remove responsibility from the individual.
We return it to them.
By offering a place to pause, we help people:
-
understand themselves more clearly
-
take ownership of their inner world
-
navigate complexity with maturity
-
remain present under pressure
IME does not replace leadership, culture or strategy.
It strengthens the human foundation they rest upon.
For organisations, this means:
-
less reactive leadership
-
fewer stress-driven breakdowns
-
more grounded decision-making
-
teams that can hold complexity without fragmenting
A quiet conviction
We believe that the future of work will not be defined by speed or efficiency alone.
It will be defined by:
-
psychological maturity
-
inner stability
-
relational capacity
-
the ability to remain human under pressure
IME exists to serve that future.
By offering something rare in working life:
A space where nothing has to be delivered.
Only met.
And from that place, performance becomes something different.
Not driven by pressure.
But grounded in meaning.
